Essential Home Care Services, LLC was born from a deeply personal journey, a shared vision, and an unwavering commitment to serving families with compassion, dignity, and excellence.
As sisters originally from the Bronx, New York, we were raised with strong values rooted in family, service, resilience, and community. Watching our grandparents age and witnessing firsthand the challenges families face when searching for trustworthy, compassionate in-home care opened our eyes to significant gaps in the care experience. We knew families deserved better—more compassion, more reliability, and more personalized support during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
That realization became the foundation for Essential Home Care Services.
Together, we built this agency with one mission in mind: to provide the same level of care, respect, and peace of mind that we would want for our own loved ones.
Nefertete Amon-Ra
Co-Founder
Nefertete Amon-Ra brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in government administration, human resources, and community service. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to helping people navigate complex systems, advocating for others, and creating environments where individuals feel supported, respected, and empowered.
As a serial entrepreneur, mentor, and community advocate, Nefertete’s passion for service extends far beyond business. Her commitment to excellence, leadership, and meaningful impact plays a vital role in shaping the compassionate culture of Essential Home Care Services.
In her spare time, Nefertete enjoys traveling, mentoring aspiring female entrepreneurs, and giving back to the community.
Ayeshia Amon-Ra
Co-Founder
Ayeshia Amon-Ra brings nearly 30 years of legal experience as an accomplished attorney, with a primary focus in Personal Injury, Family Law, and Criminal Law. Her professional background has equipped her with exceptional advocacy skills, attention to detail, compassion, and a deep understanding of helping individuals and families through life’s most challenging circumstances.
Her legal expertise, combined with her heart for service and family-centered care, strengthens the foundation of Essential Home Care Services by ensuring families receive trusted guidance, professionalism, and compassionate support every step of their care journey.
Outside of her professional work, Ayeshia enjoys traveling, mentoring fellow female entrepreneurs, and serving as a passionate advocate for community empowerment.
